Egg cases(oothecae): The empty egg cases in the German cockroach will often be hidden in harbourages, unhatched oothecae are hardly ever found as is also carried from the female until right before they hatch.
Live Insects: Live or recently dead adults or nymphs trapped on insect detectors can help provide clues towards the extent in the infestation.
